These planks have been used for decades as cladding in the Alps. Due to the extreme conditions there, the boards have acquired an amazing appearance. The heartwood has survived and the soft wood has been worn away. This gives the planks an unmistakable character. It is characterised by its different thicknesses and original sides. The planks are treated, making them particularly suitable for outdoor applications.
